Last week I noticed that Charles still had the tag that came from the dealership on his car keys even though we bought the car 2+ months ago. I asked him why and he couldn’t really give me a real reason. I decided that it was time to upgrade it with a key chain of his own. I figured he didn’t want one like the one that I had made for myself, so I brainstormed for something a little more his style.
I used the same leather from my cord taco, and cut it into a .5″ by 6.5″ strip. I used two rivets and a bit of embroidery floss to decorate it. I chose green because it is his favorite color. I used E-6000 to hold it in place. It was easy to create and is a big upgrade from a little piece of blue laminated paper.
