I painted these little notebooks for Valentine’s Day gifts this year. They are kraft paper Moleskin notebooks, which come in packs of 3. I always keep a notebook in my purse in case inspiration strikes and I want to jot something down, so I figured that this would be a practical and cute gift. I painted them using liquid leaf paint, but acrylic paint would work too. I used paper hole reinforcement stickers as a guide, and did the dots randomly.
Liquid leafing dries quickly, so the project didn’t take long from start to finish. A bit of baker’s twine and a cut out heart completed the project. The notebooks were small enough to fit inside of a flat envelope so they were perfect for mailing. They just needed a bit of extra postage (I think it was around $1.00).
