I first came up with these little hearts when I was thinking about Valentine’s Day cards. I generally send out cards to my best friends and family. I thought that a cute little cross stitched card was the way to go until I actually started making them. Turns out it took a bit longer than I had anticipated. I had originally made them on a very small aida cloth (24 count maybe?) and with two strands of floss, but you could definitely size up if you wanted to make them bigger – maybe a small framing. I chose 4 pinks that were all the same hue, but in different shades. Most embroidery floss bins are set up that way, so you just have to choose the ones that are next to each other.
