[This post was scheduled to be published on Friday, but for some reason it didn’t post. Whoops! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.]
I’m not big on making resolutions but one of my goals for the new year was to go through and organize all of my crafting supplies. Since I dabble in a little bit of everything, it has been a pretty big undertaking. While organizing my beads, I came across these swarovski crystals, and decided to make a bracelet. This is why it takes me so long to organize – I keep finding items that pique my interest and I stop to create. I like the look of layered bracelets, but I find that they always seem to tangle on my wrist and it takes forever to fasten them. I decided to create a faux stacked bracelet with three strands. I used varying lengths of chain to make the beads staggered – two of the lengths have 2 beads, and one of the lengths has 3. I used wire to string the beads and just created loops on each side. Once all of the strands were put together, I gathered the ends with a jump ring and attached it to the clasp. This created the layered look that I was looking for with only one clasp. This bracelet is a perfect way to use up leftover beads and leftover bits of chain.
